Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a significant stylistic departure from her primarily acoustic early work, Jessica Lea Mayfield's third studio album introduces heavy, distorted electric guitars and distinctly grunge-indebted textures. Co-produced with her then-husband Jesse Newport, the record utilizes minimalist drum tracking to emphasize its sludgy, fuzz-drenched atmosphere, effectively contrasting with her signature deadpan vocal delivery.
