Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo album from the acclaimed violinist of Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra. 'Pools of Light' is a powerful and emotionally resonant work, built from layers of looped violin, vocals, and electronics. The album creates vast, cinematic soundscapes that are at once beautiful and dissonant, blending the mournful melodies of Eastern European folk with the textures of drone and modern classical.
