Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally conceived as the soundtrack for a sprawling, unproduced feature film, 'War Child' finds Jethro Tull returning to slightly more conventional song structures after back-to-back epic albums. The record is a wonderfully eclectic, fiercely melodic progressive rock triumph, overflowing with intensely sarcastic, highly humorous political commentary and remarkably complex, anxious acoustic arrangements.
