Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as their final studio album before disbanding, 'Garden of Joy' captures the Cambridge folk revival stalwarts expanding their traditional roots repertoire with subtle contemporary pop influences. The record heavily features the charismatic vocal interplay of Maria Muldaur and Geoff Muldaur amidst their signature washboard and kazoo instrumentation. It remains a joyous, eccentric endpoint for one of the 1960s' most beloved acoustic ensembles.
