Album Notes & Community Reviews
For his third album for Warp, Finnish musician Jimi Tenor hired a large Polish orchestra of more than fifty musicians plus choir, folding their sweeping arrangements into his nu jazz and soul jazz framework on 'Out of Nowhere'. The scale of the production proved commercially untenable for the label, and the closing track 'Call of the Wild', sung by Nicole Willis, marks the end of his Warp tenure.
