Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released in the wake of the massive international success of 'The Harder They Come', this deeply emotional record was heavily colored by the sudden passing of Cliff's close friend and producer, Leslie Kong. Balancing poignant, introspective balladry with socially conscious reggae grooves, the album showcases his remarkable ability to fuse Jamaican rhythms with polished, American-style soul and pop sensibilities.
