Album Notes & Community Reviews
Known primarily for his massive 1951 R&B hit 'Night Train', tenor saxophonist Jimmy Forrest proves his formidable hard bop credentials on 'Most Much!'. Backed by a rhythm section featuring Hugh Lawson, Forrest delivers a series of robust, blues-drenched solos that highlight his massive tone and unshakeable swing. The album firmly re-established his relevance within the early 60s acoustic jazz scene.
