Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from his longtime role as Cecil Taylor's primary saxophonist, the artist traveled to Paris to record this frantic, deeply emotive solo debut. Backed by a formidable rhythm section including Lester Bowie and Alan Silva, the session balances fiery, uninhibited improvisation with lyrical melodic structures.
