Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fusing advanced linear guitar concepts with the warm, burry tone of the valve trombone, 'Jimmy Raney Featuring Bob Brookmeyer' is an exercise in subtle complexity. The intricate counterpoint and hushed dynamics underscore the deeply cerebral nature of the musicians' interactive approach.
