Album Notes & Community Reviews

The session notably incorporates uncredited backing vocals from his wife, 'Mama Reed', supporting his lethargic, drawling delivery. The resulting tracks emphasized the highly accessible, walking-bass boogie patterns that allowed his rural blues style to heavily influence early rock and roll audiences.
