Album Notes & Community Reviews

Riding the wave of his immense crossover appeal, 'Jimmy Reed ...Now Appearing' captures the quintessential, laid-back boogie shuffle that made Reed a massive star. The combination of his slurred vocal delivery, high-register harmonica accents, and relentlessly repetitive guitar grooves proved highly influential to the emerging British invasion bands.
