Album Notes & Community Reviews
Dialing back his characteristically frenetic tempos, the organ innovator focuses heavily on lush balladry and textural subtlety. By emphasizing sustain and sophisticated chordal work over rapid-fire runs, he demonstrates the deep romantic potential of the Hammond B-3.
