Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Los Angeles, this deeply grooving live set captures the Hammond B-3 organ pioneer fully embracing the heavy syncopation of the 1970s jazz-funk movement. The title track famously provided the foundational breakbeat sample for the Beastie Boys, underscoring the album's lasting impact on hip-hop culture.
