Album Notes & Community Reviews

Under the production of Richard Gottehrer, Joan Armatrading embraced a noticeably harder, rock-oriented sound for 'Me Myself I'. The album's punchy, radio-friendly arrangements perfectly complemented her robust vocal delivery and introspective songwriting. It became one of her most commercially successful ventures, yielding her highest-charting single in the United States.
