Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced entirely by Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy at his Chicago studio, the fifth album from the Kentucky songwriter is a masterclass in delicate, unadorned acoustic folk. The tracking strips away virtually all percussion, focusing intimately on the intricate fingerpicked interplay between Shelley and guitarist Nathan Salsburg. The album was universally praised for its breathtakingly warm, poetic intimacy and flawless vocal delivery.
