Album Notes & Community Reviews
Featuring breathtaking orchestral arrangements by Claus Ogerman, Jo茫o Gilberto's 'Amoroso' is a stunningly pristine, achingly romantic pinnacle of traditional Bossa nova. The album wraps Gilberto's notoriously intimate, incredibly mellow acoustic playing and soft vocal delivery in profoundly lush, beautifully soothing orchestration, creating a deeply peaceful, warmly tropical summer masterpiece.
