Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Genesis' is the debut full-length studio album by the American extreme metal band Job for a Cowboy. In a surprising pivot from their highly influential deathcore origins, the band consciously embraced a more traditional, technical death metal sound, eliminating hardcore breakdowns entirely. The album effectively legitimized the group within the wider metal community while showcasing a significant jump in musicianship.
