Album Notes & Community Reviews

Delivering a quintessentially sophisticated, late-night listening experience, the veteran pianist leads a relaxed, highly melodic small group session. Joe Bushkin's light, swinging touch bridges classic swing sensibilities with the subtle, harmonic restraint of the emerging cool jazz idiom. 'After Hours' perfectly encapsulates the urbane, slightly nostalgic club atmosphere of early 1950s New York.
