I'm the Man

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on the sharp, piano-driven energy established in his debut earlier the same year, the English musician delivered a taut and cynical set of songs. It was recorded at Capricorn Studios in London, capturing a distinctively cynical edge that aligned perfectly with the era's shifting musical landscape. The record solidified his reputation as a sophisticated yet biting voice within the late-70s British music scene.
