Album Notes & Community Reviews

Joe Jackson's 'Jumpin' Jive' stepped away from his new wave singer-songwriter identity to revisit jump blues and swing-era repertoire. The project helped introduce parts of his rock audience to Louis Jordan, Cab Calloway, and related big-band traditions through a compact revivalist format.
