Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Universal Language' ambitiousy expands Lovano's post-bop foundation by heavily incorporating wordless vocalizations and exploratory, avant-garde structures. The saxophonist leads a highly skilled septet, utilizing unconventional instrumentation to craft a textured and conversational approach to modern jazz improvisation.
