Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Big Tobacco' collects songs Joe Pernice wrote for a fourth Scud Mountain Boys album that never materialised, recast as hushed contemporary folk under his own name. Its quiet surface carries dark narrative freight, from 'I Still Can't Say Her Name' to the murder ballad 'Bum Leg'.
