Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding vastly on the groundbreaking instrumental rock of 'Surfing with the Alien', Joe Satriani delivered a sprawling, remarkably diverse 18-track opus. The album seamlessly shifts between driving hard rock, complex funk grooves, and expansive, cinematic guitar soundscapes, notably featuring Satriani's own lead vocals on several tracks. It remains one of the most eclectic and technically astonishing guitar records of the era.
