Album Notes & Community Reviews
Self-financed and recorded entirely as a solo endeavor, this debut album introduced the world to an unparalleled instrumental guitar virtuoso. Relying heavily on programmed drum machines, Satriani's fluid, legato phrasing and highly melodic, space-themed compositions fundamentally altered the trajectory of modern rock guitar playing.
