Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released in early 2006, 'Super Colossal' captures the instrumental rock virtuoso Joe Satriani continuing his exploration of technically complex, blues-influenced hard rock[cite: 8]. The album was noted for its live-in-the-studio feel and remains a purely instrumental showcase of his melodic guitar phrasing[cite: 8].
