Six Brandenburg Concerti Vol. I - No. 1 & 2

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Under the direction of a famously exacting conductor, this mid-century interpretation of the Baroque cycle is notable for its rhythmic precision and structural clarity. The complex, intertwined solo passages and robust ensemble playing reflect the era's robust, somewhat modernized approach to early 18th-century repertoire.
