Album Notes & Community Reviews
Famed for its massive, four-movement structure and grueling technical demands, this concerto represents the pinnacle of the composer's symphonic integration of the piano. This specific recording captures the immense physical power required to navigate the dense chordal writing, balancing thunderous orchestral tuttis with moments of profound, lyrical intimacy.
