Album Notes & Community Reviews
Cage reads ninety short stories, each timed to last exactly one minute, while David Tudor simultaneously performs realizations of 'Solo for Piano' and 'Fontana Mix' that were prepared independently of the narration. The two layers were never rehearsed together, so every alignment between text and music on the record is a product of chance.
