Album Notes & Community Reviews

Carpenter composed and performed the score in three days at Sound Arts Studio in Los Angeles, working with synthesizer programmer Dan Wyman and crediting the music to the fictitious Bowling Green Philharmonic Orchestra. Its main title theme, built on a piano ostinato in 10/8, became the defining sound of the slasher film.
