Light of God

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Light of God', John Charles crafts a work of synth-punk and sample-heavy electronic experimentation with themes rooted in theological mysticism. The album's songwriting juxtaposes aggressive, noisy textures from post-punk and industrial rock with the transcendent and visionary concepts reminiscent of Hildegard of Bingen's divine illuminations. The production balances raw, dance-punk energy with moments of ambient reflection, creating a sound that is both confrontational and ethereal.
