Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally recorded in 1977 during John Mellencamp's tumultuous early period with MainMan Management, this shelved project was hastily released to capitalize on his massive 1982 breakout success. The decidedly unpolished power-pop tracks highlight his youthful ambitions before he fully developed his gritty, heartland rock persona.
