Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a return to music after a nearly decade-long hiatus plagued by legal battles and writer's block, 'Centerfield' proved to be a major commercial comeback. The album relies heavily on classic rock and roll aesthetics, tapping into deep American nostalgia with its ubiquitous title track. Fogerty notably played all the instruments on the record himself, utilizing studio overdubbing to recreate the swampy sound of his early career.
