Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released primarily to fund his severe, life-threatening drug addiction, the former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist's second solo album is a profoundly disturbing, harrowing listen. The fractured, lo-fi acoustic recordings capture an artist in the throes of absolute physical and psychological collapse, oscillating between beautiful avant-folk melodies and terrifying, screeching dissonance.
