Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly before his second departure from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, this deeply conceptual solo album explores themes of inner spiritual ascent and philosophical struggle. The production is incredibly dense and psychedelic, featuring soaring guitar solos, a massive string quartet, and a stunning cover of Tim Buckley's 'Song to the Siren'. It is widely regarded by fans as his most ambitious, cohesive, and masterful solo achievement.
