Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing the immense critical resurgence that defined his late-80s and 90s output, John Hiatt's 'Walk On' is a masterclass in mature, roots-oriented Americana. Supported by highly proficient studio musicians, the record leans heavily into soulful country-rock grooves and Hiatt's characteristically wry, observational lyricism. The album further cemented his reputation as one of America's most consistently reliable, highly literate songwriters.
