Album Notes & Community Reviews

The American singer-songwriter's seventh album finds him grappling with heavily polished, synthesizer-laden 1980s pop-rock production. While somewhat at odds with his roots-rock inclinations, the record remains a fascinating transitional document showcasing his wry, impeccable songwriting beneath glossy AOR arrangements.
