Album Notes & Community Reviews
Kirkpatrick, with Sue Harris, Martin Carthy, Martin Brinsford and Fi Fraser, plays twenty-seven Cotswold morris dance tunes acoustically, a deliberate answer to the electric 'Morris On' he had made with Ashley Hutchings. The album launched the Free Reed label, and its sleeve carried extensive notes on the history of the morris and guides to playing and dancing the tunes.
