Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring his trademark slurred vocal delivery and liquid guitar phrasing, the veteran Scottish songwriter leans into a heavily polished, jazz-inflected adult contemporary sound. 'Cooltide' incorporates fretless bass lines and smooth, lush production, offering a deeply relaxed, late-night atmosphere that characterizes his 1990s output.
