Album Notes & Community Reviews

In contrast to the intense, brooding echoplex experimentation of his previous releases, 'Sunday's Child' presents John Martyn in a decidedly warmer, more optimistic light. The record leans heavily on his foundational British folk-rock roots, featuring tender, romantic songwriting heavily inspired by his family life and propelled by robust, organic acoustic arrangements.
