Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived primarily to raise funds to purchase the titular church building adjacent to his Scottish home, the legendary songwriter recorded an eclectic album entirely comprised of cover songs. Martyn applies his beautifully weathered, bluesy croon and lush guitar work to unexpected selections ranging from Portishead to Lightnin' Hopkins.
