Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following intense media scrutiny and the discovery of a vocal cord granuloma that delayed his touring, the blues-pop guitarist retreated into deeply introspective Laurel Canyon aesthetics. Trading his signature electric blues for acoustic guitars, pedal steel, and prominent Hammond organ, the album channels the breezy, pastoral folk-rock of the 1970s. It stands as a significant maturation point, signaling a clear shift towards earnest, roots-oriented songwriting.
