Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dropping the 'Cougar' moniker entirely for the first time, the Indiana songwriter pivots away from the folk instrumentation of his previous work in favor of muscular, straightforward heartland rock. 'Whenever We Wanted' thrives on driving electric guitars and gritty, observational lyricism detailing working-class American struggles.
