Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting thirteen years after their acclaimed 'Dance Hall at Louse Point' collaboration, the duo divides their labor evenly: Parish handles all composition and instrumentation while Harvey provides lyrics and incredibly varied vocal performances. The record wildly swings from chaotic, abrasive punk-blues to delicate, haunting folk ballads. It serves as a fascinating, raw detour between Harvey's more conceptually unified solo records.
