Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming up with the wildly popular avant-groove trio Medeski Martin & Wood acting as his backing band, the veteran guitarist crafted a remarkably infectious, accessible modern jazz record. The deep, improvisational pocket and laid-back funk rhythms proved massively successful, bringing Scofield's virtuosic playing to a much wider jam-band audience.
