Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed modern jazz guitarist teamed up with fellow six-string virtuoso Bill Frisell for this highly anticipated, brass-heavy studio session. 'Grace Under Pressure' features the two distinctive guitarists trading incredibly fluid, post-bop improvisations over a rock-solid rhythm section and bright horn arrangements. The album is widely celebrated as a masterful dialogue between two of contemporary jazz's most unique improvisational voices.
