Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as an early showcase for the legendary guitarist's distinctive, angular phrasing, 'Who's Who' is a phenomenal acoustic and electric jazz session. John Scofield is flanked by heavyweights like Kenny Kirkland and Dave Liebman, weaving complex post-bop intelligence into deeply funky, highly accessible fusion grooves. The album clearly signaled the arrival of a highly original, highly influential voice in modern jazz guitar.
