Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Works for Me' is John Scofield's straight-ahead jazz album, the guitarist leading an acoustic band with Kenny Garrett and Brad Mehldau through standards and originals. Issued by Verve, it set aside his funk and jam projects for a concentrated post-bop statement.
