Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in Oslo under the guidance of Manfred Eicher, 'Such Winters of Memory' heavily features John Surman's overdubbed baritone saxophone and synthesizer interplay, joined by Karin Krog's ethereal voice. The pristine acoustic space of the Talent Studio yields a meditative and distinctly European approach to modern improvisation.
