Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from the acclaimed British pianist assembles a remarkable ensemble of the era's leading UK jazz musicians, including Kenny Wheeler and John Surman. 'Pause, and Think Again' effortlessly navigates between complex, angular post-bop composition and expansive free jazz improvisation. It established John Taylor as a brilliant conceptualist and instrumentalist in the modern European jazz landscape.
