Album Notes & Community Reviews

The prominent Native American activist and poet collaborated closely with late Kiowa guitarist Jesse Ed Davis to fuse his potent spoken-word poetry with heavy blues and roots rock. 'AKA Grafitti Man' acts as a searingly political and deeply spiritual manifesto, addressing indigenous rights, environmental destruction, and political corruption. Bob Dylan famously hailed it as the best album of the year, bringing critical awareness to Trudell's powerful musical activism.
